charmed stay!
lovely atmosphere great equipment comfortable lodge
The atmosphere in the bar and restaurant was lovely. i found a wide choice of food and drinks on the menu. breakfast had great butcher quality. The staff were friendly. the lodge provided all i needed and more, it was very comfortable. i was impressed that the indoor spa and pool were super clean, and the gym featured a great range of equipment.
the room was very basic for what i paid for an overnight stay.

The train station is nearby, providing convenient travel options. glasgow is also nearby. The location is advantageous. you do not need a car to reach the hotel.

The plumpy duck restaurant offered a pleasant dining experience. I found the food to be very good. i enjoyed the cocktails, and the prices seemed reasonable. the breakfast selection included high-quality butcher meats. The restaurant met expectations.

the ben hope cabin had its own hot tub and was surprisingly spacious. it included all the provisions you'd need for a comfortable stay. the rooms are super clean, comfortable and have everything you need, i was very happy.

The staff were good and helpful. every staff member went out of their way to ensure i had the best stay. the staff helped me choose a treatment. I found them very professional.

lodge living at its finest
cozy lodge comforting atmosphere helpful staff comfortable bed
We booked a ben more lodge and it was the cutest thing ever! it was cosy and comforting with a hot tub. andrew showed us how to use it. He also explained the heating, helpful.. the complimentary snacks are a nice touch. i connected my netflix to the smart tv in the lodge. the bed was super comfy. I had the best sleep.
the dirty windows on arrival in the lodge were a bit of a letdown. we reported it, but it wasn't fixed . it slightly affected the overall impression.

The hotel offers a swimming pool in the spa area plus a well-equipped gym. Some classes were in session. there is also a soft play area, perfect for families with children, and parking is plentiful with lovely views around the grounds.

the grounds are suitable for walking. intimate lodges are located up the back offering fine views, perfect for a relaxing getaway. the nearby plumpy duck restaurant provides a cosy, rustic dining experience and delicious meals.

adequate but flawed stay
noisy hot tub slow dinner service
the room was spacious enough for a short stay.
the hot tub made an awful noise all night it impacted sleep quality. no one fixed the curtain rail even after reporting it staff seemed uninterested. the dinner service was slow we waited one hour and thirty minutes for food.
